CONFIRMATION 2023

“Big God. Big Questions.”

            Our Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Book of Order directs that, “The church nurtures those baptized as children and calls them to make public their personal profession of faith and their acceptance of responsibility in the life of the church. After the session has received them as active members they shall be presented to the congregation during a service of public worship. In that service the church shall confirm them in their baptismal identity. They are commissioned for full participation in the mission and governance of the church, and are welcomed by the congregation.”

            Confirmation 2023 will begin with a lock-in at the church Friday/Saturday, February 10-11 and our youth will be confirmed during worship on Sunday, May 7.      Participants in Confirmation 2023 include: Fisher Blanton; Robert Coombs; Windsor Farrior; Hannah Floyd; Miller Ludlum; J.J. Rouse; Hayes Skidmore; Burroughs Strickland; Parker Thompson; and Trace Thompson.
